Application Deadline

Until December 25, 2024, at 16:00.
Applications after the deadline will not be accepted. On-site applications will not be accepted.

★IMPORTANT★
This video filming permission is granted to media outlets that have obtained media passes, not to YouTube channels directly.

Application Eligibility

Applications are limited to individuals 18 years or older who meet the following criteria:
1) Those who aim to distribute videos to YouTube channels operated by media outlets (main media) that have passed the coverage application screening, i.e., YouTube channels as sub-content of the main media
2) Representatives of the above media, media staff, or filming crew (MC, camera, audio, etc.) commissioned by media representatives

The following individuals are not eligible for video filming permits

1) Freelance journalists/photographers not commissioned by media representatives (including AJAJ/JMS/JRPA members)
2) YouTube channels not related to automotive media
3) Personal YouTube channels operated by individuals other than the main media
4) Individuals commissioned by exhibitors (including production for exhibitors' websites and owned media)
5) Individuals under 18 years of age

  Applications after the deadline will not be accepted. On-site applications will not be accepted.

Important Notes for Application

▷Applications must be made by logging in with the ID/PASS of the media representative (representative or editor-in-chief of the accepted media).
▷Applications are limited to a maximum of 3 people, and each person must register individually.
▷Media representatives must also apply if they plan to film
▷Video filming applications are required for each day
▷Multiple channel registrations from one media outlet are not permitted
▷Video distribution on YouTube is prerequisite. Channels exclusively for SNS (X<Twitter>/Instagram/TikTok) are not permitted. However, sharing short video clips on SNS as PR for YouTube videos is acceptable
▷Filming permits are limited to automotive-related channels.
▷This filming permission covers the Makuhari Messe venue (Halls 1-11). Separate applications are required for filming in the Event Hall, outdoor venues, and International Conference Hall (permission may not be granted even if applied). Filming of AUTO SALON SPECIAL LIVE is strictly prohibited
▷Screening results will be notified by email (not necessarily in order of application). If video filming pass issuance is denied, individual reasons will not be disclosed
▷Those who pass the screening will receive an acceptance certificate. Please bring the required documents listed on the acceptance certificate and collect your pass at the video filming reception desk on the day of coverage. Passes will not be mailed
▷Name changes on acceptance certificates are not permitted. If someone else needs to attend, they must submit a new application within the application period
▷If deceptive acts (fraud, false reports, misuse, etc.) are discovered during application, all registrations from the applying media company may be cancelled.
▷If it is discovered after registration approval that posted content causes trouble to third parties (including rights violations) or violates public order and morals (including third-party reports), registration may be cancelled.
▷Those who obtain video permission passes must submit coverage articles to the PR office. Future coverage applications may not be accepted if articles are not submitted
